Show approaching!

A celebration of music and other fine arts in a festival atmosphere is on tap for July 24-25 as The Dam Show returns for its seventh running.

Organizers have once against succeeded in landing bluegrass/ folk music national recording artists who are followed by "groupies," as well as regional favorites for a full schedule at the Austin Dam Memorial Park.

There will also be workshops on drumming, singing, square dancing and yoga, vendors of all sorts, refreshments and fun for all ages. Headliners such as Larry Keel and Natural Bridge and Moira Smiley and VOCO may not ring a bell with music fans who are accustomed to hit charts and juke boxes, but they're in high demand and widely hailed by critics.
