Education Council opportunities upcoming

Potter County Education Council and the Community Education Council of Elk and Cameron Counties are working on a plan to provide nursing education through distance learning provided by Lock Haven University.

Classes would start with the fall semester. Anyone who is interested or would like to obtain more information should call 274-4877.

LPN classes planned

The Education Council is partnering with Pennsylvania College of Technology to bring an LPN course to the council's Coudersport office.

Preparing for college

Education Council will be offering a master student course.

Instruction will be presented to help students with time management, note recording, test taking, and writing. The class will prepare students to move from the high school classroom to the college campus. For more information, call 814-274-4877.
