Marian A. Lancaster, 94, formerly of Syracuse, N.Y., died July 3, 2009 at Guy and Mary Felt Manor, Emporium.Burial was in St. Marys Cemetery, DeWitt, N.Y.

Barnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Marie Gier

Marie S. Gier, 95, of St. Marys, died July 3, 2009. A funeral service was held Tuesday, July 7, 2009.

Burial was in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, St. Marys. Barnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Emily Selvage

Emily Steel Selvage of Blooming Grove, N.Y, formerly of Coudersport, died June 17, 2009. Emily was a Coudersport native.

Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Sheila Selvage, and a brother, Capt. Matthew Selvage.

Emily was a volunteer firefighter, a Lions Club member, and was active in other community organizations. Arrangements are under the direction of David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, N.Y.

John Vogt

A memorial mass to celebrate the life of John "Gus" Vogt, will be held July 18, 2009, at 1 pm at St. Mark Catholic Church in Emporium.

Marcia Lehman

Marcia Jean Priest Lehman, 48, Oakboro, N.C., died June 30, 2009.

Lloyd N. Williams, 70, of Mills, died July 4, 2009.
