Making the world a better place!
The Emporium-based songwriter, singer and guitarist has evolved from a member of local rock/punk bands; to a solo performing and recording artist; to - for the past four years • an energetic gospel singer and inspirational leader who travels the globe to praise the lord.
This weekend, he flies to Honduras as part of a ministry and mission team that will assist at medical clinics and preach the gospel. Wright will perform and testify at a major youth revival during the group's visit.
In the two months leading up to this weekend's trip, he has taken his music and his message to Hong Kong, the Dominican Republic, and a weeklong "tent meeting" in Wellsville, Ohio.
"God has been so faithful, and I am extremely excited about what Jesus is about to do next," Wright said as he prepared for the Honduras trip.
He has been singing, preaching, and praying with the afflicted and building churches.
Wright said that on his travels he has seen miraculous healing and conversions to Christianity. He acknowledged a special inspiration and excitement for this month's travels.
"I believe that this trip is going to be the greatest we've ever taken - Jesus is going to be glorified as we bring healing to the body and heart," he said. "We will have the pleasure of preaching and unveiling Jesus to the people in Honduras. As we saw last
time, many miracles and healings will take place. We are believing for a mighty outpouring of God's love and power that will change Honduras forever."
