Game Commission personnel are releasing 106,142 ringneck pheasants on public lands for the upcoming small game hunting seasons. Some 15,000 birds were released for the junior pheasant hunt, which concludes on Saturday. Regular pheasant hunting season opens on Oct. 24 and closes on Nov. 28. A vintage snowmobile show, swap and radar run is scheduled for Saturday (today) from 8 am to 4 pm at the Potter County Snowmobile Club on North Hollow Road. Breakfast will be available.
