Through An Old Timer’s Eyes
     Another Friday the 13th came and went and I did not have one bad incident happen. No black cats crossed my path and I drove more than 300 miles round-trip to Benton, Pa. We went to visit my 87-year-old brother and you will be pleased to know that, this time, I did not lock us all out of my niece’s van.

Getting older is getting better
      When I look into the mirror, my focus is drawn to the developing ripples in the skin around my eyes. Whoa. Wrinkles. They give me pause, even concern. I think: “Maybe I’ve been up too long. Maybe I squint too often. Maybe it’s time to start using some kind of anti-aging cream.”
