‘Fat Tuesday’ in Austin

Austin United Methodist Church presents its fourth annual Fat Tuesday Feast on Feb. 16 from 4-7 pm at the Austin Firehall.

Diners can choose from among beef, turkey, meat loaf, hot dogs, sauerkraut, potatoes, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, salads, hot vegetables along with casserole and desserts, including a traditional King Cake.

Mardi Gras beads will be given away and those attending will learn the Christian roots of Fat Tuesday.

Cost is $7.00 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 5-11; free for those under age 5.

Tickets are available at the door or by calling 647-8947. Take-outs are available by calling 647- 5594 that afternoon.
