Linda Wismer of Westfield shows off her new quilt at the Patterson Cancer Care Center in Coudersport. Quilts, afghans and hats are donated regularly for patients by individuals and groups such as Women Study and Serve Society, First Baptist Church of Hebron, Sartwell Creek Union Church, Lorena Howard and Leanna Carpenter. The center’s lobby was recently beautified by this spruce tree, raised from the seedling stage by the Catholic Rural Ministry of McKean and Potter Counties.
