Drug overdose case moves through court A mother and son’s whose actions contributed to a Coudersport teenager’s drug overdose had their criminal cases work through the Potter County Court system recently. According to court documents, Gayla Yentzer, 50, of Coudersport removed a prescription painkiller from her employer in Harrison Township and her son, Cody Yentzer, 19, acquired the medication from the family’s medicine chest and supplied it to the overdose victim last June. Cody Yentzer pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and will be sentenced by Judge Stephen Minor on Wednesday. Gayla Yentzer was accepted into the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program. She will be subject to drug testing and must perform 25 hours of community service. |
