Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department received an $81,000 donation from JKLM Energy LLC, an active natural gas operator in the region, to help pay for new equipment that included air packs, breathing apparatus, gas monitoring devices and personal protection equipment . The donation covered CVFD’s 15 percent ‘local share’ of a EMA grant received earlier this year. Total cost of the equipment was over $330,000.
