Patricia A. Dugan
Born Sept. 9, 1934, in Wellsboro, she was a daughter of Joseph and Rose (Cardman) Cimino. Pat was a 1952 graduate of Galeton High School. On May 25, 1957, in Galeton, she married Lloyd R. Dugan.
Pat had previously worked for Lewis Albee Insurance Agency in Galeton; was the West Branch Township tax collector; co-owned the Plaza Café; and co-owned, along with her husband, Dugan Tractor.
She was a member of St. Bibiana Catholic Church in Galeton, where she was the choir director for many years; was a member of St. Bibiana Women’s League; a social member of the Galeton Moose and Galeton VFW; sang with the Gale-Tones, with whom she performed at Carnegie Hall; and was in the first class of the Galeton National Honor Society.
Pat was a wonderful cook and homemaker who enjoyed decorating for holidays, attending all of her grandsons’ sporting events and activities, and playing the organ and singing. She was a beautiful singer who performed at many weddings and funerals. Pat dearly loved her family. Her grandsons were her pride and joy.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Jeffrey L. (Veronica) Dugan, Galeton; two grandsons, Jordan and Tyler Dugan, Galeton; a brother, Edward (Janice) Cimino, Olean, N.Y.; two sisters, Margaret Collins and Cathy (Mrs. Hugh) Smith, both of Galeton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers, Joseph, George, Rocco, William, Paul, and John Cimino; and four sisters, Mary Vanhoutte, Anita Karhan, Virginia Cowburn and Elizabeth Breunig.
Hess Funeral Home of Galeton was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton. Memorials may be made to the Gale Hose Ambulance Association or St. Bibiana Catholic Church.
