Falling Leaves Outdoor Show continues

Coudersport’s popular Falling Leaves Outdoor Show continues through Saturday. Sponsored by Potter County Habitat for Humanity, it celebrates the region’s beautiful fall foliage. Among highlights is the Falling Leaves Parade at 3 pm.

Many vendors are lining the courthouse square, including the Potter County Farmers Market.

National Wild Turkey Federation is operating an indoor shooting gallery and sky-gazing is being guided by Stash Nawrocki.

Children can enjoy pumpkin-painting, pony rides and games. Wildlife themed exhibits feature a full-size bull elk mount and a bird rehabilitation program. A face painting booth is open to kids and adults.

Area police are on hand to meet with citizens and provide crime prevention tips. Free health screenings are available.

A chainsaw-carving demonstration is planned at the Methodist Church lot. An antique car show is operating on Water Street. Potter County Historical Society offers guided walking tours at 10:30 and noon and its museum is open all day.

Live music by Bronze Alley Boxer, Jason Wedlock and Toby Linberg is scheduled at the gazebo from 4 to 6 pm.
