Employees at the Cameron County Courthouse and GKN Sintered Metals combined their efforts to raise $10,000 for this year’s Pinktober Baskets of Hope fundraiser for breast cancer awareness. The money will be used to help a dozen local families affected by cancer. Organizers plan to increase the number of gift baskets available for raffle next year and have set their fundraising goal at $12,000.
