Upper Allegheny Watershed Association volunteers were out in force again, removing trash from their “adopted” section of U.S. Rt. 6, from Roulette to Burtville. They filled about 40 bags with refuse. The association has been tending to that stretch of highway for 15 years. Shown from left are Kathy Mitchell, Stub Wirtz, Mick Greeley, Janie Weeks, UAWA president Heather McKean, Ray Jobe and Frank Weeks. They expressed their appreciation to PennDOT for supporting the clean-up.
