A Coudersport girl has been a role model for generosity, no matter a person’s age. Lydia Tingley, 8, made a New Year’s resolution to donate $700 to the Cole Foundation for UPMC Cole’s Patterson Cancer Center. Through lots of hard work, Lydia surpassed her goal, raising a total of $1,036. She plans for the money to be used to provide care packages for the Patterson patients, containing a gift card, aloe-infused socks, and a bath bomb or bath salts homemade by Lydia. She’s shown with her mother, Chrissy Tingley (right) and Andrea Streich from the Cole Foundation.
