‘Open’ for businessFree Access

A volunteer committee focused on making aesthetic improvements throughout Coudersport is resurrecting the mission to have more “Open” flags posted outside of businesses.
Members are working with the Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce to offer affordable flags, poles and brackets. More information is available from Kelly Bruno, board member for the chamber, at 814-331-5724.
Cori Wagner, owner of the Mama Made gift shop in North Main Street, is among local volunteers working on the downtown “facelift,” which includes new planters, garbage receptacles and other improvements.
Additional details will be announced.

Creating a more welcoming appearance is the mission of some Coudersport area merchants who are promoting the use of “Open” flags up and down the streets. Among those who have signed on are operators of these two side-by-side businesses on North Main Street – Abigail Rossman (left) from Cream ‘n Sugar and Sandra Kenyon from Hauber’s Jewelry Store. Other projects are in the works to spruce up the business district.
